Life is Normal After All…
Joshua was in the shower. Jenna was helping Josiah get dressed. As they walked down the hallway past the bathroom where Joshua was bathing Josiah opened the door and this conversation ensued:
“Joshua, did you get soap in you eyes?”
“No.”
“Oh, well me heard you say ooowwww.”
“That was cause the soap getting in my eyes.”
Aha! Now it all makes sense.
In Jillie news:
Her counts today are down more. Bummer. But still not zero. They are at 46 today. We will see if they drop again tomorrow. this actually makes sense because her last round of chemo started Thursday at 2am and then she also had a does Friday at 2am. So it makes sense it would be the lowest on Friday.
Pictures from happier days. This must have been Monday or Tuesday. Notice the hospital bootie on her arm.
Tuesday or Wednesday Jeff took the big kids hiking while I stayed home and made play-doh with the little kids.
I made Jillian a new sock/cover for her PICC line tubing. She wanted to show the kids the tubes before we put the new sock on.
And the new cover.
Here we are feeding her before we left for clinic. Shortly after this picture she puked it all back up onto her favorite blanket that Grandma B. gave her. That is a hat Laura sent. Thanks!! We love it.
I have pics of haircutting day today. I’ll post them later. Looks like Jillie will be in for at least 3 days. She still has a fever so they are running a culture again. It takes 48 hours for the culture to be read. Bummer.
The kids and I are going to Kristina’s to play today. Hoorah for normalcy!!

…that Jillian was able to come home! In and out of the hospital MUST be better than in for weeks at a time! Your boys and girls are so lovely! I really enjoy pictures of them. Our family is often praying for yours, please know that lots of families are lifting Jill up in prayer for healing. Tell Jillian that we all think she’s beautiful! One of my girlies said that she looked like one of the cherubs in the old paintings, except not chubby!
