Jillian is Coming Home Once Again!!
Her ANC did finally drop to zero but it was only there a day. Yesterday it was 40 and today it is 540!!! I’m not sure if that is a normal rise but I was thrilled. I know last time she was at 0 at least two days. And from what I remember it came back up slowly. Might it be the ambrotose? I plan to graph the peaks and valleys once Jeff gets home and we can look at all the lab work.
Jill will be getting her dose of vincristine (chemo) tomorrow, a day early so that she doesn’t have to go to clinic on Thursday. Vincristine does not effect white blood cell counts(where we get the ANC from). So we will have all week to load her up on Ambrotose and other supplements before she has her “bad chemo” (my terminology) next Thursday. Then we will watch her counts again. It really sucks.
The good news is Jillian has a 36 week protocol. As of tomorrow we will have done 3 weeks of it. YEAH!!! So we are not in for 3 years of chemo like Leukemia patients. If all goes well we could be done in 9 months.
Once things calm down here I’ll be able to post more pictures. I have pictures of Jillian opening the boxes that the fabulous ladies at the WS sent. But I don’t have time to post them here. When Jill comes home this time things will be different. Mainly, she won’t be ill from the chemo, and we will have time to check our brains out of cold storage for some personal use. I’ll post more then. :)

It’s very interesting to hear your experience with the Ambrotose. What a blessing your testimony of God’s provision through all of this will be.
Praying for you all,
~Nancy

I’m glad she doing better…and a shorter protocol?! Praise the Lord! Keep up all your hard work on her behalf. I know God knew what He was doing when He allowed this to enter your lives. Great good will come of your trial!

Hi Katie,
We are so glad to hear that her counts are rising! Keeping her in prayer.
Its nice to see pics of Jerry and Sandy. We haven’t seen them since my two oldest were babies.
Please tell Jeff thanks for the great advice he gave us on Matty. I’m checking into it and I’m always ears for anymore.
Have a blessed day,
Christa
Psalm 62:1-2
My soul finds rest in God alone;
my salvation comes from him.
He alone is my rock and my salvation;
he is my fortress, I will never be shaken.
