13 Years
Yep, it’s been 13 years of marriage. Jeff covered it pretty well on his blog so I’ll let you read there. Of course there have been days, like any marriage, where you think “Where is the man I married?” but more recently the days have been filled with “How’d I get so lucky? This is great!!” Jeffrey, I’m excited to spend at least another 13 years on this fun and ever changing journey with you!!
Today was a Junie day. Well not really, but that is who I have pictures of so here you go. First she made a club house. June plays by herself alot because Jessica’s play is below her and the big kids are too far above her.

And then she wanted to sew with me.

Cute little hands.

Concentrate.

Stuff it.

It’s a doll pillow!!

Great job Junie. She really is a natural. I should let her start sewing her own clothes.
And a quick picture of my brilliant and extremely cute son Jonah. Look at him sitting like a big boy and eating like a big boy. I’ve never seen a child this young hold his fork properly!! We didn’t even teach him!!

Yep, he’s a utensil prodigy. Do you suppose they have special schools where he can develop his talent?
We had a very relaxing day. Aside from laundry we didn’t do much. Oh, I took a nice bath and read a book by the Moores about homeschooling. I’ve never read anything by them before but I am certainly enjoying it. I don’t know why, as I already agree with everything they are saying. But the statistics fascinate me and perhaps I just like giving myself a pat on the back that I am right in what I do for homeschooling.
After the bath I took myself out to lunch…I tried to snag a friend but it seems most people are not as spontaneous as me. I sat at Red Robin and read my book. I’ve never done that before and really it was very fun!! Jeff was feeling especially giving today that he let me run off like that. Thanks Jeffrey!! I ran to Sprout’s and came home to happy children. Jeff had been throwing them around… er, wrestling with them while I was gone. According to Jeff everyone cried at least once. That is the sign of a good wrestling match. And still they come back for more.
Oh and this is what I did when I came home.

I… ummm…skidded out in the rocks in the front yard right before I mangled the lantana bush. Good thing they are hearty plants!! Then I reparked the van. Very exciting.
Enjoy the rest of your night. School tomorrow. Hoorah!!

Happy Anniversary!! What cute kids! Love the fort Junie made, she is a doll.
I’m so glad things are going well for you all, you seem so relaxed and happy. And almost $1,000?!??! The most I’ve made at a yard sale is about $80. We must just have really crappy stuff or something. Have a great night. I’m also very jealous of the camera Jeff got, so cool. (mommaof3…writing from one of my many blogs)

Junie looks older than her age. I imagine Lydia would like to play with her………….
We start school today. I started the day off by getting up late…I forgot to set my alarm. Any other silly day the alarm goes off at six.
Dh picked out a bunny coffee cup for me to drink some of his coffee.
Here we go…………

Nice fort that Junie made.
My youngest son (2 yo) looks so much like your Jonah. Every time I am looking at your blog, he sees Jonah and says “me, that me!” One time he got really confused because there was a picture of Jonah with Jeff, and he could not figure out who that man was that “he” was sitting with.

Happy Anniversary!!!
I don’t mind eating by myself either… Sometimes the quiet is just nice.
I love how hearty lantana is. No matter what you do, it always grows… exactly the kind of plant that I need!

Lantana makes my skin itch, it breaks out in a red rash and hurts until the next day if I brush up against it…..BUT, I love the colors of pink and yellow all mixed together! Little bouquets!
The plants we have around the yard came up on their own. I would have NEVER planted them right in the middle of my gardens.

Happy Anniversary Katie! You made a haul on your yard sale too! I can’t stand hosting those things, I think the most we ever made was $300. Not that $300 is anything to sneeze at mind you, I would just rather donate everything then keep it around for a yard sale.
