Josiah…
quoting Fiddler on the Roof last night. What he is trying to say is “Motel!! Even a poor tailor is entitled to some happiness!” What he really said “Motel!! Happiness for the poor thing!”
Pictures from when Amber and Angela came and watched the kids. First we went to Golden Corral.

And you know the Covington kids are always the picture of decorum and civility.

Uh-huh

Ya.

Ok I guess they were able to act “normal” most of the time.

Well except the Yakov trick.

It’s scary and funny all at the same time.

Now there is one happy gal… er, did she come from the circus?

Jessica… your 5 o’clock shadow.

I’m not sure about the eyes.

I’ve never seen Jonah so happy.

The eyes look a little turtle-ish in my opinion.

And not very attractive. Actually this picture scares me. Those eyes stare right through you.

And this one is in need of a plastic surgeon. Everything is not lining up right I fear.

Jill got a free ride out to the van. Lucky for her as the waitress charges extra for that.

So we left the kids in Amber and Angela’s capable hands ALL DAY. I figured they could handle it. I’ve met Ben the naughty one. ;) They read books.

They raced.

This is how 5yo boys race. On your mark….get set…

GO! Try to push your opponent to the ground.

They had lunch outside. Something about the Covingtons and meals. Food is not taken seriously.

Is it the tuna, Lina?

They played games.

that I am not familiar with.

More piggy back rides. For free I imagine. The girls really ought to charge.

And photo ops.

And tragedy struck.

Splinters. Not sure what Jessica is trying to convey with that face but it is so Jessica I felt I should post it.

Then dancing!!

And I did get in on the fun but we have no pictures of the fat woman skipping down the center with my pint sized partner. Shucks.

And eventually it was time for Amber and Angela to leave. How sad. One last picture for posterity.

Thanks so much for coming up. The kids had a blast. Amber and Angela have promised to come up again once we close on the property so we can picnic by the creek (or in the creek as it were) with them. Bring your sandals and lawn chairs!!

You have a couple that I missed when A & A showed me all of their pics, guess they were on your camera. Those YAKOV pictures are definitely funny AND scary! I finally told the girls I didn’t want to see anymore of them! LOL! They were just too strange. : ) The game is called “Carcassone” (not sure I spelled that right). Your property is gorgeous! We can’t wait to come see it, hopefully the “squatters” will be gone. ; ) After it freezes and the ragweed dies out, we’ll have to plan a trip.

Thank you Katie for the time you take to keep us up to date on all the fun you guys are having. The property looks wonderful! I can just see the boys playing Tom Sawyer along the creek.
The photos with that Yakov ad are too funny!! The kids will be so happy to have such a great place to play and explore.
