FINALLY!!

I feel like life can resume normalcy now. I’ve spent this morning editing and uploading pictures (in between answering a million questions, disciplining children, chatting on the phone, making a grocery list, supervising one particular child very closely, eating meals and keeping an ear out or kids playing outside BEFORE public school kids come home) for your viewing pleasure. Oh, I also have pictures of the building and vandalism taking place at our property. Welcome to Missouri!!
As an aside, we are under a severe thunderstorm watch today until 4:30 pm. We get some pretty fierce thunder during these storms and it is terribly fascinating. All I got to say is it had better not wake Jodi because I am taking my computer time and it is imperative to my sanity that I not miss this time.
Here is a random picture for you to meditate on while I work on the newest cook along. It’s chicken salad in case you are wondering and it was good. Everyone raved. No really. They RAVED.

:) I have been absent recently due to health issues, but wanted to tell you I love your blog for soooooooooooooo many reasons.
1. You are a mom of 12, I am in awe…. I am a mom of 3 and lose it sometimes.
2. You are a large family (my dream but it will go unrealized since God has a different path for me now :) )
3. You are a homeschooling mom of 12. Need I say more?
4. You don’t have a problem speaking your mind and don’t mind what the world may have to say about it.
5. I love updates on Jillian. Her health is such a miracle and your family such an inspiration!
6. Your recipes are so healthy and yummy!
7. You sew and craft (like me)….
8. All the above!!! LOL
Oooooooooooooooo, and on curriculum (I won’t have a chance to visit the board today. I have to go lay down since I had surgery this am.) I am a newb to hsing but I LOVE “The Well-Trained Mind”. It is such a nice book. :) We hodge podge our materials and do a lot of lapbooks. We love it!!!!

Glad you are back. Maybe you will convict me to actually get back to blogging something. I have been neglecting my blogging friends something terribly. I just found an e-mail from months ago I never answered. :(
Anyway, love that pic! Love Jillie’s short and sassy do. :) And June, well, what can one say. That girl is just off the cute scale. I could listen to her little voice all day long!
Sorry you have gotten vandalism on your property. :( Sounds like the drunk campers aren’t happy with you living there. You just let me know if we need to get a posse and go out there and teach ‘em a lesson about bein’ neighborly…;)

By the way, my answer to your poll wasn’t an option. I started reading because of Jillian - but I enjoy your “up front” blogging - and the pictures of all your children are cute. Your “cooking classes” are interesting too! Thanks for all the work you do to update so regularly!

I read this site for multiple reasons, like the above posters have said. I was only allowed to mark one option, but you can add a few more in there for me!
Ok, my first thought when I saw the picture, are the name tags for you or someone else?? I’m the oldest of 2 and my mom would call us whatever name came to mind first, I can’t imagine 12 names to keep straight, so I wouldn’t fault you if there are days you have to label your kids!!
