Sew Crafty Friday - Aprons

Shereen at Waiting for Him hosts Sew Crafty Friday.

I began a swap in December with Cathy. I got these fabulous shorties and she got aprons. Unfortunately it took me forever to finish. I just mailed these last week. Thankfully she says she likes them.

I used this pattern.

I love the way the back looks.

Junie modeled for me.

And a green one.

Clearly I didn’t iron them before taking pictures.

I love this green one too.

Ok, I just love everything about this pattern.

And apparently I forgot to take pictures of the big person apron, it looks just like this one but with the fabrics reversed.

Beautiful. Oh, and the aprons are nice too. :) Aprons are on my list of things I want to learn to sew. I’m a sewing newbie so we shall see. I really love that pattern and how it ties in the back. It annoys me to have something tie behind my neck so I’m intrigued.

Cute! I wish I could sew well enough to make cute things. I’ve made a diaper bag and a child-size sling, and that’s it. It’s so much trouble with little ones wanting to be right there watching every stitch. How do you do it?

What a beautiful job you did on the aprons. I like the combination of materials that you chose. I can’t decide which one like liked the best, they both were beautiful and you did a great job sewing them. I kind of think that I am leaning towards the green one. They look good on your model as well! :)
