The Latest. - part duex

Good grief, I had a post typed up and Live Writer ate it. Well, I have to hit the bed while Jodi is wonked out on fentanil so I will leave you with these.

Did you know that albuterol lowers potassium? I do.

The PICU is no fun.

Here she is tonight in low lighting with a point and shoot camera. I hope you can see her eyes are not sunken anymore and her color is good. She was alert this evening and looking at me. Poor Jeff had a horrible night last night because Jodi was uncomfortable and crabbing. Now she seems to be feeling better.

Doc says she can eat tomorrow. WOO HOO! I’ll post again tomorrow with more pics including a cute little CT Scan. No really, a medical procedure can be adorable.

She is looking much better! I love her “Whaddayathinkyerdoin” eyes in the second picture. Yes, get some sleep…it’s really too late for you to be up!

Praise the Lord she seems to be doing better. And I’m so glad that it seems to be a ‘temporary’ problem and not something more ’serious’ (although anytime it’s our babies it IS serious).

We’ll pray her recovery is quick and complete.

So glad things are improving!!! Continueing to pray for you all, especially right now that you will be sleeping peacefully! (at times the time difference is neat! I can pray over you while you sleep!) Enjoy feeding Jodi again today!

Oh, she looks so much better! Praise God and we will certainly continue to pray. Enjoy your time with her today. I’ve had two little ones in NICU and know how hard it is not being able to let them nurse!

So thankful she’s on the uphill. Her hospital pictures make me want to gather her up…no doubt the same for you. She looks so very trusting.

You know more medical terminology than any mother should have to…but thankfully you do. :) I loved it when my mom could confidently take charge. Your kids are blessed.

    Still praying.

She looks alot better! I’ve been praying for Jodi! I was wondering what was her actual diagnosis? I notice you mentioned a virus and then albuterol…not sure how the two go together? Anyway I hope she continues to get well!

Awwwww! She looks so much better - the first thing I noticed was her eyes! I have been praying too and was wondering the same thing - how are stomach and/or intestinal viruses and albuterol related?

I’m starting to worry that these longies won’t be big enough … she is a healthy looking girl! :-) That’s a wonderful thing! You’ll have to measure her with a dipe on when you are back home and settled. Maybe you’ll want these bigger than small size! Maria is still in NBs …

Enough about that!! Glad to see that she’s getting much better!
