Can we just have a little review of the current events here?
First we went to an Easter potluck at some friends of ours. While I was there (Jeff was at the property) the father of this family warned me that because we are planning big things that Satan may try to attack and dissuade us on our path. I told him we would not be shocked if Jillian relapsed because that would be the worst of the worst. That was Sunday the 23rd of March.
This is the chicken salad I made.
Friday the 28th Jeff went back out and found this.
Sunday, April 6th we went to the property and upset the neighbors.
Monday, April 7th Jodi was admitted to the hospital.
Tuesday, April 8th our van was VANdalized. I’m so punny.
Thursday, April 10th Jodi was admitted to the PICU.
Of course we were home on the 14th but geesh.
Can we say spiritual attack? We are happy to have a day or two of peace. Thanks for your continued prayers as we run this race.
Please pray for the Backus family as little Samuel is not doing well.

Were you able to get the marker off your van? Goof Off or Oops might do the trick if not.
I hope that ya’ll can catch a bit of a break!

Maybe its not spiritual…..could just be too much celery in the Chicken Salad?

Sigh. Do people have nothing better to do? I’m so sorry you’re dealing with all this cr*p while running your home and caring for your sick little ones.
I continue to pray, Katie.

I am sorry you have had it so tough… I will pray for you.
Can I be shallow for a minute too and say I LOVE the quilt in the background of the pic of Jill and Jodi! That is fab! :)
Love to you!

Katie, I had thought the same thing as I saw the turn of events for you. I’m glad things are peaceful right now and I will pray for you.

btw, I made that chicken salad and used turkey like you did. I started the recipe backwards like you suggested too. It turned out really good and my hubby loved it :)
