Another Crazy Week.
May 19, 2008
I swear, sometime this spring/summer I will have a chance to sit down and blog. Here are the going-ons for this week. Last night and the night before we were at friend’s house. Different friends each night, we aren’t that rude. They were kind enough to let our children run amuck on their property while we talked some business and some chatting. As you can imagine the kids are feeling great, what with having a place to run off all that kid energy. They have all been trying to sleep in the last few days.
We did not buy that bus I posted pictures of last week. Turns out it was not as pretty in person as it appeared in pictures. Plus it only went 55-60 on the freeway and that just doesn’t fly with us. We have places to go and we want to get there in a timely manner.
Monday: Today…yikes. Trip to the property to discuss with our realtor some other land options. We are keeping the other property, just looking at more. It will be 83 here today so the kids are all in swim suits. I have multiple phone calls to make and I need to work on those dresses for Cathy and Sarah.
Tuesday: Work on dresses and school. EMDR Therapy for Jason. But these first few meetings are all about rapport.
Wednesday: Chiro for everyone and Pediatric Endocrinologist for Jodi. Run around day. I am really hoping I don’t have a long wait in the lobby for this doc as I already think this appt may be a waste of time. We might hit the library this day as well depending on how much school gets done.
Thursday: IV Therapy for Jill. Maybe Jeff can take Jill so I can catch my breath?
Friday: Nothing planned for this day. Perhaps I can finish those dresses???? If I get those done I may blog. You gotta see Jodi, she is amazing.
Don’t forget. There is a Homeschool English Country Dance June 27th in Springfield, MO. Please email me for details. It should be a blast.

NO comments?!?! This post has been up all day and no comments? I had to leave one just to be the first. :) And I think I will email you about that dance, because by an odd twist of fate, we just happen to have a vacation in MO planned for the week before. Sounds like fun! Enjoy your busy week!

Dear Katie,
Please, please, please…check yourself into a weeklong spa. One that doesn’t allow you to do anything but vegetate. Three meals and three snacks, several naps per day and massages should be included too! Anyway, I hope the rest of your week is quieter! LOL Keep blogging, I love to read about your family’s adventures, your cooking ‘classes’, and your humorous writings about the kids and Jeff. I can relate with children that dance to a different drummer…and I’ve only got two…you have twelve children. (Well, truthfully, sometimes I have extra littles that dance differently too. I’m a foster parent like Utah Laura!) Laura and I try to touch base everyday just to make sure we are still in our right minds! LOL I’m sure that DH will take care of everything while you’re gone so make that reservation and pack your bag. Lots of hugs, Aunt Bea

Sounds about as nuts as my week! LOL! And I have far fewer people to co-ordinate! I just don’t know how you do it!

Oooo… I don’t know how to do more than just waltz, but it sounds so fun!!! I wish we lived closer.
I hope you’re having a great week and can get some time to breathe, relax and maybe even finish a couple of dresses. :-)
