More of the Creek

Other people enjoyed the creek as well.

This one was unhappy because we made him wear swimmies. We wouldn’t let him drown. We are so mean that way.

But soon he was feeling better again. I was keeping my feet cool in the 28 degree water.

Ok, it wasn’t really 28 degrees. Jodi loves the creek. She loves sitting by the creek, not getting in the creek. She is such a good baby.

Poor Jonah! You guys are such abusive parents. Children need freedom, Katie!

Poor guy! I think it’s worth making him upset just to see that cute expression on his face!

Have you tried one of the swim vests made by Speedo? You can get them at Target. So much better than swimmies - allow for arm movement and such, plus no risk of them falling off since the vest zips on and buckles between the legs.

Jonah’s facial expression cracks me up! That Jodi looks so much like a Bettendorf! Do you think she has more of a resemblance of Jeff? The creek looks like a great place to hang out with lots of littles.

This is a question related to Jillian. Does she still have a picc line? Im just curious how you protect her line during all this fun water play. My daughter has a CVL and this is the first summer that she is old enough to notice she is being left out. Anyway Im just curious.

As of April 30th 2007 Jillian has a port-a-cath. She was so happy to get rid of that PICC line. :) Hope your daughter can be CVL free soon. -Katie

Awesome, thank you for answering. I just had a conversation with our TPN nurse RE: port-a-caths and I think that is how we will go. Have a great summer!
