My kids are now busy exploring THIS site to identify local plants. And THIS site to determine the medicinal use of the plants. If you are not living in Missouri currently you may not be interested but if you are planning to move to Missouri soon (as all smart people are) you should still bookmark these pages.
We are very interested in what THIS article had to say and we are planning a large medicinal herb garden. It just makes sense to start with those plants that grow as weeds, doncha think? I’ve found Yarrow, Chicory, Clover, Bind Weed and Plantain just this morning. Of course we also found Buttercup and you don’t want to eat those.

Well, I’m pretty happy in Hawaii and not planning to move to Missouri :) but I do have you to blame for the introduction of Club Penguin to our family!

hey you!! I haven’t forgotten about you, btw. I still haven’t had a chance to order my wool yet, but I will be and very soon!!!!!! Hey… I have a question about your website. Who hosts it? I am really interested in my own website (for my hyena cart, but also for my family… it would be fruitfulfingers.com I think) and was wondering what you do and how you write your pages and all. I love blogging, but would also love to have my own website to talk about my family and the products I make to sell and all.
Talk to ya soon! :) Bridget (and thanks for the “reality check” about the crazies that would be right in my own neighborhood compared to those on the internet!!! THAT is why we are having our fence installed!!!!!)

Another easy to find medicinal plant around here is mullein. I don’t usually see it in yards, but it’s all over the woods and fields. :) Another fun plant that my kids love to munch on is “wood sorrell.”

Katie-
I hope you are doing well, it’s been awhile since you wrote anything. We all get a little worried when you “dissapear” for a bit. Prayers are with you.. I’ll keep watching your blog..
Blessings
