We are getting some of these. No, not those exact ones but something very similar. I’ll post pictures tomorrow. :)

Well, I’m certainly glad to know you’re not coming to steal ours!! We’re moving ours to the coop this week. What kinds are you getting?

Chickens are so much fun.
Sadly one of my boys got into my brooder and I lost 9 of my 11 teenagers. They were almost ready to move into the chicken coop. So I will be ordering more chickens soon.
I will say that once that cuteness is gone, be prepared for ugly birds then they become pretty again.
Have fun!

Are you zoned for those? If not, start handing out eggs to the neighbors as soon as you can!
Chickens are the perfect outdoor pets. They eat bugs, give you eggs and poop fertilizer. We love ours. (We don’t eat them.)

Our Rhode Island Reds should start laying soon. Can’t wait. We have Bantie eggs, but they are really small. Not bad for the two of us, but for your crew you would have to have quite a few Banties to keep up : )
Hope it works out for you. They are fun to have around. They are the reason we may end up with pumpkins this year because they have been eating the squash bugs. Go Chickens!
