Put Your Prayer Warrior Armour On.

June 30, 2008

Yesterday I had the extreme pleasure of meeting Tony and Dana Lewis.  Dana and I have known each other several years through online forums.  We hung out at the park for several hours and hit it off.  Tony and Dana are visiting her best friend Jayne here in SW Missouri.

Today around 6:30pm I received a phone call from Dana asking for prayer.  Their son Luke has drown in the family swimming pool and is being life flighted to Springfield as I post this.  His blood pressure is good but his lungs were full of water when he left Jayne’s house.  Tony and Dana are forced to drive the 2 hours to Springfield to be reunited with their son.  Please storm the gates of heaven now on the Lewis’ behalf.  I will keep you updated as I know anything.

This is what wakes me up in a cold sweat… not your toddler, that’s who you watch like a hawk, but your 6-9 year old drowning. Please keep us updated, I will be checking as often as I can. I will be praying for him, them and all of you that know him.

Luke is our grandson..I am Dana’s Mama. Please pray for God’s healing and peace and strength for our family. I can feel Jesus is near and will take care of Luke. God bless each of you who are lifting Luke to the Lord.

Thanks for this way of updating on Luke. We are great friends with this family from Brownsville, TN and have just heard of this terrible accident. We love them and wrap our arms of prayer around them. God is so good and He will bring them through this. We love you Tony, Dana and family!
