Morning Update

Luke is doing much much better. He is waking up and responding. The X-Ray yesterday showed his lungs full of water and the X-Ray today showed clear lungs. Tony called to tell me that Luke is now on the C-Pap version of the ventilator. He is breathing on his own with a little help from the vent. They will leave him like this for several hours and then extubate if he is doing well. He is responsive and follows simple directions like "Blink your eyes." and "Lay still." The nurses and everyone involved are very optimistic. Praise God!!

Praying here! How scary for the family. I pray that the progress made continues. It is so wonderful to have a strong Lord for them to lean upon.
