Lewis Visit
The Lewis family came to visit us a little over a week ago. How exciting is that? I just love the Internet. I also love interstate travel! Dana and Tony listen intently as I explain quantum physics. They never did "get it" but I like them anyway.
The boys did what they do best. They ran. My only regret was that I didn’t arrange that Caleb rough up John. I don’t know how the Lewises feel about horse play but I personally feel the free entertainment factor is worth any physical injury my boys may endure.
Donut fell asleep on the bench which was better than listening to him walk around whining. So we were all happy. You should have seen how we all jumped when he started to wake.
Dana and her girls are ever so gracious.
Her Mary Vance is the epitome of cute. And she had an affinity for Jodi.
She is clearly in baby mode. Both Mary Vance and Dana, of course.
And I may have to visit Florida just to get another picture like this one.
Yep. A trip to Florida is in order. I love kids from large families.
And we had to assemble everyone for a group shot. I was going to take that little Joseph home with me.
Until I saw this. Notice how the rest of the kids are taking him so seriously.
I’m so glad the Lewis family stopped by for a visit. I think they are back in Florida now recovering from the excitement they had the next week. Thanks for visiting guys!!

Woman, you can’t not blog for 2 weeks, then do a bunch all at once – I need small daily doses of Bettendorf! :) Looks like you all had fun, I could use that Mary Vance over here too. Next time we make it out to MO, we’ll have to go to a park too – then Adam can rough up John, and you can explain quantum physics to me *giggle giggle snort* Anyhow, I’m glad you and Jillie are both alive and well! What fun! We may be heading to Mississippi in January and may just have to make a detour to Mo. so we can stop by and say hi! Hhmmm……. I wonder if I can convince hubby that it is a short cut?? :o)

Allen seriously wants to come down to your part of the state and look around – for deer, of course … but he has gone on record saying that we will visit you guys. :) Not that we’re a LARGE family but you’ll take our little family of 6, won’t you?
