Just found your blog after Googling "Goat Pen". This post is hilarious. We have 8 hens of our own and I remember fondly their "awkward" teenage phase when their fuzz was being replaced by feather. Chickens are fun to watch. The dog and chick picture is classic. We just bought 8 more chicks, so that brings us to 24. We now have 12 Rhode Island Reds, 4 Leghorns, 4 Barred Rocks, and 4 Aracaunas. We still haven't built the coop. We have 3 cages that they jump back into when the sun goes down. We're planning a possible 10' by 22' wood shed like structure for them.
