Where in the world…
are the Bettendorfs moving to? (I think that is a dangling participle and should probably preclude me from teaching my children at home.) The little town which is host to our new home has a little ramada "downtown". I am using downtown in a way I never have. If there is only one main road is there really a down town to speak of? Isn’t the whole town considered "down". Or is that another subject all together?
This small town has old buildings that have tons of character and likely stories to go along with them. Not like in Surprise, AZ where everything was new and the only thing with a story to tell was the dirt. And even that was not a very interesting story. Things like "I used to hold water around the roots of a citrus tree." Ya, you could write a whole novel around that.
This little street is so quaint and charming. Do you see that brown building on the left? That is a used book store and I am hoping the proprietor and I will become very close. If possible, I plan to spend much of my free time at this place. What did I say? Nevermind.
There is also a little grocery. Take a look at the rolling hills. I love the rolling hills. Except when it causes car sickness.
I’ll answer all of the obvious questions tomorrow. The pressing question now is where are we moving? Anyone care to venture a guess?

Sigh. I know the name of the town where you’re moving, but the suspense is KILLING me! Teasing us with tiny little snippets here and there. Not fair. I don’t know if I can hold out until tomorrow for more details. :-)

I don’t think it’s Ozark cause maybe that is where you are now…..or are you moving to Ozark. Hmmm….can’t remember the town name. Thought you mentioned it before, or maybe that was Jeff. Better quit while I’m behind I guess. We all have jet lag from a 3 week trip overseas and our thinking is foggy.

Are you moving to Texas? The pictures reminded me of small areas around Grapevine … however, I’m sure you’re not doing that.

Oh well. I’ve been looking for homeschool books. Yes, Katie and Jeff. My dh said YES! For the gal who’s dh said she couldn’t homeschool and thats why I didn’t homeschool my kids. That’s changing today. Whoopee!!!!

I must of missed something too because I ‘thought’ you were moving out in the country to a marvelous, secluded, spot with a creek running through it and all of us were going to come over to see you!
