Fun Fall Days
After Ike came through and drown us (the house leaks like a sieve) we are being blessed with 10 days of sunshine. It’s been amazing and we are soaking it up in preparation for our long cold winter ahead.

Enjoy it while you can, girls.

The garden has been turned and it just waiting for seeds and covers.

We have been setting up camp in the front yard and only coming in to make meals.

It is chilly enough for light jackets and that is a nice chilly.

Yep, she loves it.

That hat. I love that hat. It was made by Emily Tjaden and it is perfect.

Thanks, Emily.

Hey! She is absolutely adorable!
What are you going to plant in the garden?
Sooooo Sweet!!
Love the pics! So glad that you are enjoying your little Paradise. :)
Long winter ahead indeed! WE have lived in many places – including Springfield, MO, and trust me – compared to northeast Wisconsin (where we live now), you will just blink and winter will be over!
Hey!! We are from AZ, cut us a break! ;) -Katie
OH wow! How adorable! I too, LOVE the hat!!!
What beautiful weather… we have been enjoying some fallish weather here in GA as well… although it isn’t quite that cool yet. :D
Love,
Chas
Gorgeous weather, adorable baby and hat, but I want to see a close up of Jillie with that hair that looks kinda curly.
Did y’all have a new roof on your list of things to do? Or strong tarps to cover the roof? Leaks are not good. We had a mold problem as a result of a roof leak.
The leaks were through the bottom. Water came through/under the stem wall and we had puddles on the floor. Oof! -Katie
LOL I was going to say exactly wat Tammy said but she beat me to it. And I live in northeast Wisconsin, too! (Which has nothing on winters in central MN or eastern SD however.)
Oh, you are killing me! That kid belongs on a magazine cover. That hat is so perfect for her chubby little face!
Too sweet! That hat IS perfect for her!
(She looks so much like Junie in those photos!)
I love your idea of ‘camping’ outside during the days. My kids would love it, too if we had all of that open space. (Here in suburbia it’s not so much fun with neighbors right on top of us.) :-(
I’m glad to see that country living is suiting you all so well!
I’m so jealous of your weather! We’re a smidge north west of St Louis and it’s been in the low 80’s here. I’d love some of that fall weather.
