My Harvest Kitchen.

Do you remember all the remodeling that was/is going on?  Do you remember what the kitchen used to look like?  Now I have a new and improved kitchen.  My amazing husband took the cupboards that were hanging over the peninsula and put them on the other empty wall.  It is FANTASTIC with a capital F.  Look look Robyn and Carey!!  It is wonderful, is it not?

Also, if you look under the cupboard you will see this thing.  Jeff bought this when we lived in Surprise, AZ and we never put it up until we arrived at our permanent home.  It was on clearance or something and he knows a good deal when he sees it.  It plays my iPod and radio stations.  It even tells me what time it is.  I love this thing.  LOVE it!!  I like my husband alot too.

There is the wall I had to help put in.  I still weep when I see it.  I hope to get over it in 3 years and 5 days.  Jeff says it will have a light switch to the dining area and even an outlet on the counter side.  I want 5 outlets on that wall.  Can you ever have too many outlets?

It is mighty open and beautiful.  Jeff says I’ll get lighting of some sort on that peninsula which is nice because it is hard to cook when you can’t see.

When we get our diningroom table in the house you are all invited over for dinner.  We are having goat liver.

    Alright now… I am baby stepping here…
I have been using coconut oil, lacto-fermenting my veggies, making kefir smoothies and taking CLO… but you have gone too far. GOAT LIVER? Blech. I am afraid I can’t venture off with you on this adventure. :)
Love the kitchen by the way. It is great.
    Love,
    Chas

So cool to be saying things like “our permanent home”, huh? What a totally cool place to be raising your family. I would love to come for dinner some day, however, I will fill up on veggies and politely abstain from liver of any animal, no offense to the chef. :)

Wow! Things are coming along so nicely. Goat liver, huh? Hmmm…… (as opposed to “Mmmmmm”) :)

Kitchen’s looking pretty good now, Katie. I appreciate the invitation to have dinner with all of you. In fact, someday when I’m in the area I’ll be sure to look you folks up and drop in. However, by that time I will have become a vegetarian!!!! Besides, Katie, why serve goat liver…let’s just skip that and go to the chocolate… you know how much you like chocolate…right, Katie??? Hmm??? Think…Choc…o… late. See everyone…Katie is going to be thinking about chocolate so much that she will forget to serve goat liver. Love your blog, Katie!!! Hugs, Aunt Bea
