Fall Fashion

Sometimes when you are busy running about and doing farmy type things like jumping in leaves and taking pictures you lose sense of what is good and right in the world of fashion.  Sometimes you forget the rules and kind of forge your own path without regard to what other people may think about you.

But on a good day you remember that your life is drastically different than that of others living a normal life out in the city or even just a larger town like Mansfield with a population of 1300.  Or maybe it is more about the fact that those folks are required to dress appropriately for their job.  Like they can’t wear the same clothes 3 days in a row or the customers might start to talk.  My customers don’t care in the least, after all, they are not too keen on changing clothes either which is why I had to institute the pajama rule.  So sometimes you remember these things and you change your clothes and you worry about looking neat and tidy.

And sometimes you don’t.

  • You are wearing two different color socks. Oh, and the pop. here is actually 1314. ;)

    Jenna

  • And you went out with me in public like that. :)

  • I did?! Oh, no!!! Now all the locals think I’m weird. Well, the probably already do because you don’t buy Wonder Bread and tobacco products, but now they think I’m double weird. Sheesh.

    :D

  • Now they *know* you are weird.

  • We have pajama day at least once a week…but not into the “real” public.
I may have your other sock seems like I have a “pair” like that..haha

  • you know, you and Jenna could just turn your heads and talk to each other, you do live in the same house.

You are in the country now, you know; don’t need no high-tech, new-fangled keyboards for communikation ’round here.

LOL! But I completely enjoyed reading it, so scratch that last paragraph . . . type MORE conversations, it fills that stalker-void inside me. Once a day would be good, you could even make a new tab for it. Mwahahahahaha! :-)

  • Haha, I know the feeling! And I don’t even live in the country! Actually, Laura, I have one like the stripy one too! Hahaaaa!!! :D

  • I was just thanking God about my fashion this morning! I chose to wear something nice because I could, but I was thankful that I don’t have to dress office-nice every day. Yesterday was country-casual, and the day before was old sweats because I was cleaning house. I made sure to thank my hubby for the opportunity to wear whatever I want to. :) It’s a nice luxury!

  • HA! You guys crack me up. And once again I see we are in good company…I have a post all typed up about how fashionable WE are, but I didn’t want to post twice last night, and use all my good ideas up, so you will have to wait a day or two :D But I’m not sure I’d go out like you did, our *small town* has about 7,000 souls…that might be too much embarrassment for me :D

  • I have some shoes exactly like those! They’re my favorites in the winter time!

LOL – I think you look warm and comfortable. Seems like Jenna has inherited her mother’s sense of humor. I love her comments here.
