Bouncy
Long ago before Jodi was born I found this sling thing that babies could sleep in. It was very hammock-like and looked extremely cozy for babies (or 30-something women). I dreamed of one day having one (for Baby of course) but the price tag deterred me from buying one.
Then one day I had a revelation!! My FIL is a fabulous wood worker. He made Jeff’s desk and he is forever building great and wonderful things at his own house. So I sent him an email and said “Can you make me one of these?” I swear, within an hour he sent back a picture of the wooden part of this!!
When my in-laws came to visit we hung it up and gave it a try. Lookie Jodi!! Bouncy!!
Oh see. We love older siblings to bounce The Bouncy.
Jodi? My goodness!! What cute little toes.
There she is!! All snuggled in and sleeping. We love Bouncy!!!

when i saw the first picture of the “bouncy” i thought, it’s a Happy Hangup! i have an HH that i didn’t get to use but a short time for my son (long story) but i plan on using it for our next. your FIL did a marvelous job on it! so glad to hear your baby likes it. :)

That last pic of Jodi sleeping makes me want one! She looks so comfortable. How wonderful it was made for her by her grandfather!
