Mahnken Quilt

Back when I put up  this post people began putting in their requests for a baby quilt.  So I had to put some limits on it and decided that I had to have met the person in real life before they were worthy of a Bettendorf quilt.

Well, it just so happens I have met Veronica and family.  They were driving by our house when we lived in Ozark and they came and stayed for several hours (in spite of the fact that Jenna was sick that day. They are very brave.) and they are such a nice, sweet, fun family.

If you ever have a chance to meet them, you should.  V requested blues and browns so that is what she got.

I should meet them, I think we probably live less than 2 hrs away from each other.

  • (bowing) We’re not worthy, we’re not worthy” :D
Thanks Katie, it really is a beautiful quilt, even more so IRL. We’re hoping to get back out your way in the fall…how far are you from Little Rock? If not then, definitely the next party :)

And I agree Dusti, we should meet! :)

  • So beautiful. Your quilts are getting better and better with each one you make. The one for Donut looks like it is going to be incredible! I think you have found your calling. :) Besides raising kids, of course. ;)
