About Us

We are a Christian family of 14. We have 12 children - 7 that we have adopted and 5 biological.

We recently moved to the Ozarks and plan to build a Christian family camp on the river.

I, Katie, started this blog in may of 2005 in an effort to keep in touch with family and friends. Little did I know it would grow into a place for friendly debate, education and idea sharing. Let me introduce our family.

I’m Katie, the writer of this blog. My interests include kids, sewing, kids, eating healthy, kids, adoption, kids, homesteading and kids. I try to update once a day because I know how much I enjoy it when others do.

This is Jeff. He is the patriarch of the family. He enjoys improving his message board and giving me strange looks.

Our oldest child is Jenna. She is 12 years old and enjoys guitar, Latin and changing poopy diapers. Ok, not really, but she does enjoy her little siblings.  Here she is being a super big sister and surfing at the same time. She has her own blog.

This is our eldest son John.  He came to live with us when he was 5 years old.  John also has his own blog.
