Nixa Dance – Part III

The dance in Nixa was a blast.

My twins, Joshua and Josiah with Angela and Amber.

They shared a very twinnish dance.

Two cuties.

Excuse me while I digress for a moment.  This is Jillian.  Over two years ago she was diagnosed with cancer.  3 months later she was declared cancer free.

Jill looked absolutely angelic at the [...]

Nixa Dance – Part II

When we first arrived we staked out our spot.

All in a row.

Reeling.

It’s Angela, no Amber, no Angela.  I’m kidding.  Amber was wearing red so this is clearly Angela.

Little boys that have to sit with their mother.

Under the bridge.

Our version of the Grand March.

Ladies dressed for the occasion.

My built in babysitter.  (I have to [...]

Nixa Dance – Part I

I have many many pictures so I’ll make several posts about the fun dance in Nixa last Saturday.  Here are the highlights.

Amber and Joshua in all their twinny goodness.

May I have this dance?

Paper plate fans.

Swing your partner.

Left hand swing.

Waiting your turn.

Big and little friends.

Old friends.

Cute couples.

While the Big Kids Are Camping

If you follow Jeff or the kids on Facebook you know that the big kids were camping last night.  Since they were gone, the littles and I decided to have some fun of our own.  It all started at 7 o’clock.  We had already eaten dinner and the big kids left with Jeff to go [...]

The Mower.

Long, long ago in a place and time far, far away Jeff, my amazing husband, was not the best dad.  That is all over now.  Jeff is now Super Dad.  I can’t begin to tell you how impressed I am when Jeff takes the boys and keeps them with him while he works on a [...]

Bull Riding.

This is how things used to be.  Since we didn’t own an equine type creature the kids made due.  I’m so glad we bought those bull calves.

The kids fashioned halters out of this and that.  Then, without fear, they jumped on and … they tried to ride.

Calves are temperamental creatures and don’t particularly [...]

Star is Home

We bought Star from a wonderful woman named Kathy.  She not only brought Star to us (from Arkansas!!) but also gave Jenna a crash course riding lesson and let us borrow her tack!!

Kathy’s daughter Christine walked Star around and introduced her to the goats and Domino and, of course, Jenna.

Then it was time for [...]

Milestones.

Missing front teeth.

Did I ever mention that Jill is the only child in this family that has green eyes like me?

Baby and Cookies

Day 3 of no computer.  I hope I am starting to enjoy the jobs I do.  Have I found something else to reward myself with instead of changing my attitude?
The day of the cookies we, of course, gave one to Jodi.  So she ate it.  No big deal, right?  Yes, it’s a very big deal.  [...]

It Should be Illegal…

How cute she is.  It’s really not fair.  No jury in the land would convict me on charges of baby eating for gobbling her all up.

They’d understand that I had a case of temporary insanity.  They’d see these pictures and know that those thighs can not be left alone.

And the cheeks.  I’d pray for a [...]
