This afternoon!!!  Woo Hoo!!!  The disorientation is gone and the only lingering problem is a slight fever.

Luke is playing Monopoly this morning and has a slight fever.  They are waiting on the docs to make rounds.

Luke is out of the PICU and in a regular room but still a bit disoriented.  I’ll update as I know more.

Luke has been extubated and when asked "Do you know where you are?" he answered "In a hotel?"
 
They might send him to the Peds floor today.  Whew.  All glory to God.

Luke is doing much much better.  He is waking up and responding.  The X-Ray yesterday showed his lungs full of water and the X-Ray today showed clear lungs.  Tony called to tell me that Luke is now on the C-Pap version of the ventilator.  He is breathing on his own with a little help from […]
