Nixa Dance – Part III

The dance in Nixa was a blast.

My twins, Joshua and Josiah with Angela and Amber.

They shared a very twinnish dance.

Two cuties.

Excuse me while I digress for a moment.  This is Jillian.  Over two years ago she was diagnosed with cancer.  3 months later she was declared cancer free.

Jill looked absolutely angelic at the [...]

Nixa Dance – Part II

When we first arrived we staked out our spot.

All in a row.

Reeling.

It’s Angela, no Amber, no Angela.  I’m kidding.  Amber was wearing red so this is clearly Angela.

Under the bridge.

Our version of the Grand March.

Ladies dressed for the occasion.

These are pictures from a dance way back in August 2008.  But there is a dance in Nixa tonight.

We are so excited!!  And Buttercup the jersey cow is coming home this afternoon.  See you Monday.

Spring Has Sprung

And although it barely reached 70 degrees yesterday it was warm enough to play in the hose.  But if you are going to play in the water you may as well take the tea set out and have a little tea party.

You can invite all of our best friends and serve only the [...]

Kite Flying

I love the spring. Ya, you got the warmer weather.  Ya, you got the garden going in.  Ya, you got the longer days.  But you know what else you have? Cheap kites in the store.  Almost every year I have bought kites for the kids.  They cost $1, how can I not?

In Arizona there [...]

Funny or Crude – You Decide

Highly offensive and crude humor is posted below.  Please do not scroll down if you think you might be offended.

When Things Get Busy

Garden season is almost upon us (for some it has begun) and things are getting hectic around here.  Plus people are starting to thaw out and get tired of the cabin fever so we are getting together with friends more often.  I love this change of seasons that we have here in Missouri.
Jeff is on [...]

Sledding – Part 2

Hold on to your hats folks because this might be a multi multi part post.  Do you know how many sledding pictures I have?

Lesson #1.  Do not buy inflatable sleds for your children unless you want a full time job patching (HELLO duct tape!!) and refilling (HELLO vacuum!!) sledding devices.

Lesson #2.  Appropriate outerwear is [...]
